Investment Objective: 

The objective of the Fund is to achieve capital growth by identifying long-term value in international equity assets and to outperform the Morgan Stanley EAFE (Europe, Australia and Far East) Index (Net).

The Thornburg investment process seeks to add value by investing in companies that are selling at a discount to intrinsic value. Thornburg has developed a "comprehensive approach" that breaks up the definition of value into three distinct categories - Basic Value, Consistent Earners and Emerging Franchises.  Thornburg Investment Management is an employee-owned investment management company based in Santa Fe, New Mexico with assets under management of $87 billion.  Founded in 1982, the firm manages seven equity funds, nine bond funds, and separate portfolios for select institutions and individuals.
